ruhrjamb.2010 - scouting culture
The Scouting in the Diocese of Essen is celebrating its „move to 10“ project-highlight with an European Scout Jamboree – The ruhrjamb.2010. As a part of this jamboree we would like to welcome various Scout groups from Germany, Europe and the near East.We would like to invite you and your Scout group to be part of this big event with more than 1000 different participants from all over Europe. We are looking forward to welcoming you as our guest in this international camp from July 6th to August 22nd .
Our program will include cultural experiences, daytrips, sporting events, excursions, hikes, discussions, workshops, home hospitality, music and a lot of scouting culture and encounter.
Our camp will be divided into different villages and our guests will share these villages with other troops, so that this event will be as exciting and colorful as a Scout jamboree should be.
The camp will take place in the middle of our Rhein-Ruhr-Area, within the Essen Hallo-Park, near to the World Heritage Zollverein.
